Our Purpose is to Know Christ and Make Him Known!

meadowviewcircleWelcome & What to Expect

Each Sunday at 10am the Meadowview family gathers for our weekly worship service.  We typically begin with a welcome, followed by a few announcements. We read scripture together, pray together, give together, and even sing a few songs together. Our music is usually a combination of older hymns, modern hymns, and other modern worship songs. The main focus of the worship service is the preaching/teaching of God’s Word. Typically, we preach/teach in a verse by verse (expositional) format.  You can follow this link to learn more about our Current Teaching Series. Overall our weekly worship service typically lasts around 90 minutes.

There is a nursery available for infants to 2 years of age. After the song portion of our worship gathering and just before the teaching our kids are dismissed from the auditorium to participate in their classes.

Beginning January 15, in the basement. Discipleship was one of the central themes of Jesus’ teaching, yet it is not a major emphasis today for many churches. This short study guide explores the Bible’s teaching on discipleship, and covers such topics as the need for discipleship, the demands of discipleship, and the enemy of discipleship. With discussion questions at the end of each chapter, participants will work through guided reflection as they learn about the centrality of discipleship in the Christian life.

Remember Jesus Christ? Although it seems almost too obvious, the center of our faith is surprisingly easy to forget. Dynamic pastor C.J. Mahaney shows how to overcome our tendency to move on from the gospel of grace. Finding joy in the gospel -- whose promises allow us to escape condemnation whenever it attacks -- helps us avoid the prevalent trap of legalism. With practical suggestions, Mahaney demonstrates the difference between knowing the gospel... and making it the main thing in daily decisions and daily living. What Are You Centered On? Sometimes the most important truths are the easiest to forget. It's time to get back to the starting point of the Christian life--the cross of Christ. Jesus' work on your behalf must be the central motivation for your life and faith--the main thing. "Never move on," says C.J. Mahaney, who shows you how to center every day around the cross of Calvary and how to escape the pitfalls of legalism, condemnation, and feelings-driven faith. Tap into the gospel's power and see how a cross centered focus can transform your life today!
